Rainbow Bridge Crematorium

Our Clinic supports the care of deceased animals with a crematorium. Any animal that passes away at our clinic is cremated if the body is not taken home. The ashes can be taken home or they can be taken to Dr. Rizzo’s home where the ashes are sprinkled over the north side of her pond. It is a very beautiful and peaceful place. All cremations are done by Dr. Rizzo’s father, Joe. We care deeply for all of our animals and clients so we guarantee when you ask for your pets ashes back that is what you are getting.

If you have any questions about the euthanasia or cremation process please, don’t hesitate to ask.

The Rainbow Bridge

By Unknown

Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge,

When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to the Rainbow Bridge. There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends, so they can run and play together. There is plenty of food, water, and sunshine. Our friends are restored to health and vigor. Those who are hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again—just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by.

The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing. They miss someone very special to them, someone that had to be left behind.

They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. The bright eyes are intent and the eager body quivers. Suddenly, he begins to break away from the pack, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster. You have been spotted!

When you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face. Your hands again caress their beloved head, and then you look once more into the trusting eyes of your friend- so long gone from your life, but never absent from your heart.

Then you cross the Rainbow Bridge together…
