Digital Radiology is new in our field. When we take radiographs we can adjust them in color on the computer to better see what we need to. So, only position is important in taking the Xray. When we take an x-ray of your kids, we use regular x-ray equipment, so you can not be present due to the radiation. Once the film is taken and developed, you will be shown on the computer, and I can zoom in on a particular area to show you more in depth. We can even save the film on a CD so you can play with it at home, or take it to another vet, or send it to OFA. We would honestly put Digital radiology right up there with the importance of surgical laser!
