Laser Therapy. . . reduce pain, improve mobility, and enhance quality of life!
For over 30 years laser therapy has been used to successfully treat conditions in humans in other countries. Just recently it was accepted in the United States. We are now on the cutting edge to be able to offer this exciting benefit for your pet!
What advantages does laser therapy have over other forms of therapy? It does not require the use of drugs or surgery. There are fewer side effects and risks, and it is quick and convenient!
What are the the benefits? It is a non-surgical treatment, and no sedation or restraint is required. It is extremely safe with very few side effects. Laser therapy can also be combined with medications or other treatments if needed to see stronger results. Results can be seen almost immediately with some pets feeling better 12-24 hours after treatment. Laser therapy speeds healing of damaged tissues.
The therapeutic laser can decrease inflammation from bad joints ( hips, knees, elbows) and arthritis, as well as reduce pain in backs, ears, heads, etc. It will increase blood flow to the area, and lymphatic flow away from the area, so it is honestly a wonderful adjunct into treating old animal bones, joints, or regions of infection. It can be used instead of surgery in some circumstances, post surgically in other instances, and along with medical care in many situations.
We offer this along with pain management medication to help further reduce inflammation post surgically. Please ask if you have any questions -- we love to talk about it!
